We strongly recommend an additional transmission oil cooler be added to your H2 Hummer anytime the torque converter has been changed and stall speed increased, or when a performance modification has been performed. Your transmission will experience increased life due to cooler operation when towing heavy loads or moving slowly and radiator airflow is low. These transmission coolers are the best air-to-air on the market today and they are designed to work in conjunction with your existing in-radiator cooler that is OEM equipped. Transmission oil temp. will typically run 15-20 degrees lower than the engine coolant temp. and it will increase system volume by 1 1/2 quarts.
